If you’re looking for a young horse with an exceptional mind, Dublin deserves a look.
Dublin is a beautiful 4-year-old draft cross mare standing 15.3 hands with room to mature. While her exact breeding is unknown, she is some sort of warmblood cross. She came from her breeder who was elderly and had health issues and lost track of her records and horses.
Since arriving at ETC Equine, Dublin has spent the past two weeks beginning her education under saddle, and she has exceeded every expectation. In fact, our trainer described her as “the gentlest horse I’ve ever met.” She accepts new experiences with quiet confidence, takes tack and a rider without fuss, and approaches her work with a kind, willing attitude that is difficult to find.
She is an athletic, expressive mover with natural balance and has shown enthusiasm and scope free jumping, but what truly sets Dublin apart is her temperament. She simply doesn’t get bothered by much. She is thoughtful, uncomplicated, and eager to please—the kind of horse that makes bringing along a young prospect genuinely enjoyable.
Dublin is still green, as any four-year-old should be, but she has all the ingredients to become an exceptional partner. Whether your goals are hunters, dressage, eventing, pleasure riding, or simply owning a trustworthy horse to develop, we believe she has a very bright future.
She is sound, sane, and only going to become more valuable as her training continues. We truly believe Dublin is going to be someone’s dream horse.
